Today the Kia Manawanui Syndicate went to Technology.

Once we got to Tamak College we got split into our three groups and the group that I got put into was the cooking group and in our cooking group we baked Kumara Frittata.

Step - 1 - Peel the Kumara

Step - 2 - Whisk four eggs with one cup of milk

Step - 3 - Mix with Kumara and pour into the baking tin

Step - 4 - Bake at 180*c for 15 - 20 minutes 

Final step is to eat and enjoy:

On Thursday the 20th of June the Kia Manawanui Syndicate went to Technology and we were split into our three groups. The group I am in is Cooking and in cooking my buddy was Lydia and what we made in cooking was Spaghetti Caprinara.

Step 1 - Boil Spaghetti with 3 cups of water.

Step 2 - Bake your Bacon in a metal baking tin.

Step 3 - Scrape the zucchini, carrot and onion

Step 4 - Mix the Spaghetti, vegetables,cheese and cream altogether.

Why did brando choose to walk around the coastline of New Zealand?

He walk around the coastline of New Zealand hoping that he can raise about 10,000 dollars for the ronald mcdonald's house and he also said he would be hunting, fishing and foraging for her food.

How did brando survive on his journey?

He looks for something to eat like a goat and a goat to him means dinner so he shoots it, skins it, gut it and chop it up giving him protein to add to his seaweed and that is why he can survive from hunting wild animals that he can eat for dinner.

What did brando learn from this experience?

Brando learnt to know we all should be alert to the possibility of adventure to real adventure that bring about change. He also learnt that we someone arrived someone really cool and where they could have a cool journey all they do is take a photo and get back in the car and leave. It not a adventure and it hasn’t change you.

He was abducted by aliens but he was actually taken by time travellers.

Why did the time travellers wear space suits?

They wore space suits because they were afraid of germs and they didn’t have colds in the future.

Do you believe that real time travellers visited the school? We believe that real time travellers visited the school.

What might the time travellers learn from their trip?

That people on earth the things they do are different to what they do in the future.

If you could travel back in time, when would you go to and why?

I would back in the days to see how my parents did their work while they were younger and how the shops and the houses and the buildings would look like. I would also go back to see what my Grandparents did while they were younger.

Today at Technology the Kia Manwanui Syndicate went technology and we were split into our group.

The group that I got put into was cooking class and in cooking class we made Sivler Beef with Vegetables soup. So its like a soup but with vegetables and beef.

Here are the ingrediants:

Step 1. Slice your meat and boil with Cabbage and Potato.

- 1st we peel the carrot, cut the carrot then put into the pan.

-  We also peel the onion, cut the onion then put into the pan.

- 2nd we cut the cauliflower and put into the pan.

- We also cut the broccilli and put into the pan

- Then we cut the Tomato and put into the pan.

Step 2 -  use Spices - put Salt into the pan first

- put little bit of Pepper into the pan second then put some Chilli powder.

Welcome back to my blog today I am going to be sharing with you all about my peace activists and what happened during the day.

 Leymah Roberta Gbowee is a Liberian peace activist responsible for leading a women's nonviolent peace movement, Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace that helped bring an end to the Second Liberian Civil War in 2003. 

Me and my goup which is Me, Lydia, Hiria and Hevani all added our peace activists and what we think peace means.

It took us like about a day to finish our presentation for the other classes to see during school time. So After morning tea the Junior classes (1,2,3,4,5) went to all of the senior classes (6,7,8,9,10) and see what we have been learning. So what the Kia Manawanui have been learning was the WW1 and our group presented the meaning of peace, The boys (Timote, Auckland, Isaia and Raymond) presented Road Saftey and the other group (Coralee, Carra, Stanley and Abigail) Presented what happened in WW1. After lunch time The Senior classes went to the Junior classes to see what they have learnt and the Senior classes went to each others class rooms and it was so FUN for me.
